Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Delaware Valley is a 501(c)3 nonprofit community service organization founded in 1966 to educate consumers about money management, promote the wise use of credit, and assist people in overcoming financial difficulties.

Mission
CCCS positively impacts human lives and communities right within your very own neighborhoods through comprehensive consumer credit education, counseling, asset building and debt reduction programs without regard to economic status.

Our primary concern is providing you with the best and most realistic options to help you get back on track financially. CCCS does not sell products nor are we affiliated with any financial institutions. We are funded by government, public and private grants.

Success
We have helped over a half million people within the Philadelphia area gain control of their finances and improve their lives through one-on-one credit counseling and financial education. These efforts have, in turn, supported neighborhood stability and improved the quality of life for individuals and families in the region.

Over the past 44 years, CCCS. mission and activities have grown to keep pace with the changing and increasingly complex financial needs of the community and the diverse needs of those we serve.

CCCS is a member of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) and accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Service for Families and Children, Inc, a HUD and PA Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) approved agency, and member of the Better Business Bureau of Eastern PA and Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce (GPCC).
